Would you like to deepen your therapeutic and healing knowledge, AND broaden the range of modalities you can offer your clients?
Would you like a part-time, flexible, affordable program with a convenient weekend schedule, where you receive specialised training from internationally qualified and experienced tutors in a small classroom styled environment?
The Wellpark College (part -time) two year Graduate Certificate of Craniosacral Therapy Level 7 program begins June 2012, in the calming haven of Kawai Purapura Wellness Retreat, Albany.
CST (craniosacral therapy) recognises the fundamental unity of all structural, physiological, psychological and energetic processes within the human being. By gentle touch, listening with the hands, perception on all levels and a willingness to open into stillness, the therapist can gain insight into the core issues that create dysfunction and interfere with the path to wholeness.
This gentle yet effective approach, works directly with the body’s natural capacity for self-repair to attend to a wide range of conditions.
If you are an attuned body therapist wishing to broaden and deepen your practice, Graduate Certificate of Craniosacral Therapy program offers applicants a profound modality, combining unique structural and biodynamic aspects of bodywork.
There is very limited intake and early bird pricing available for this program. Contact studentadmin@wellpark.co.nz or call Katie Hayward: (09) 3600560 to learn more.
CST was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E Upledger. It is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.
By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
